I stay for 3 months in the house and it was a very great experience. The house is very clean and in a quiet place. The privacy of the room was respected during all time and the food provided was really good following my own preferences. There is a close bus stop and in 20 minutes you can be in the center. Moreover, Jeanne pick me at the airport and help me during my first days there.

An absolutely fantastic homestay and would recommend Jeanne to anyone! The house was warm, tidy and felt just like home. Jeanne ad Ian really do welcome you into the family and were really keen for me to get involved with their normal activities too. They were great at helping me find the right bus to catch and for general tourist attractions in Christchurch. The food was great and I could faulty nothing about the stay!! Thank you so much!!!!

Jeanne and Ian were very welcoming, accommodating, and extremely flexible when my plans changed suddenly at the end of the stay. Room was comfortable and the house was extremely tidy. Truly did feel at home!

A nice, warm and friendly family with a beautiful house. We arrived at 2am due to a late night flight from Sydney & they were very kind to have accommodated us & were very welcoming even at that late hour. We felt like home. They also showed us around their place in the morning, helped us with places to go to in NZ and were friendly in their ways. The room was comfortable too with enough blankets to keep us warm on that chilly night! All in all, would happily want to return to visit them & highly recommend a stay in this relaxed home.

A really nice and welcoming host. Ian and Jeanne are always ready to help. They helped us with everything what we needed. They helped us with the buy of our campervan and gave us a lot of stuff what we needed for our trip. They told us a lot about Christchurch and gave us proposals what we can do in the city and around Christchurch. Ian is a excellent cook and the fridge was full with fresh food. Finally we can recommend this homestay to everybody who wants to go to Christchurch.

Fantastic homestay experience. Jeanne had the bus services ready for me and even let me use her metro card for cheaper fares. Meals were fantastic with breakfast and lunch options being more than adequate for my needs. The family is warm and welcoming and having the cats add to the homely feel. I would warmly recommend people to stay with Jeanne and Ian and given the opportunity would gladly stay there again.
